Building Orbi: From Concept to 4,500+ Users in 6 Months
Six months after successfully launching Orbi out of beta, the numbers speak for themselves. With very limited marketing, the platform organically acquired over 4,500 active users.

Simplifying Personal Finance
Orbi was built with an ambitious goal: to replace the traditional financial advisor.
Personal finance is notoriously fragmented and confusing. Orbi solves this by empowering users to make sense of their finances in one unified interface. The app allows users to check their existing insurance contracts (vehicle, property, life, travel), automatically arrange better deals, and effortlessly set up investment portfolios or even secure a mortgage.
It is the perfect example of our core philosophy at Yolk Studio: turning complex financial logic into a beautiful, effortless user experience.
The Product Journey: From Vision to Version One
At Yolk Studio, we guided Orbi through our complete product lifecycle.
We partnered with the founding team to take the original idea and transform it into tangible first concepts. We created rapid prototypes, validated the UX, and then our engineering team went to work. We architected and built a robust MVP, ran rigorous alpha and beta testing, and continuously iterated on the designs, the frontend UI, and the complex backend server infrastructure.
Building a secure, compliant, and lightning-fast financial tool is no small feat, and launching it successfully out of beta was a massive milestone for our entire team.
